Often I am very sceptical when a celebrity brings out a perfume!
Mainly because I always wonder how much they have actually participated in the process of making the perfume, form how it will smell to how it will be packaged and finally marketed. I also wonder if they will actually wear it themesleves!
I imagine many celebrities do not have a great deal of experience in making perfumes, they are more likely to endorse perfumes from very well known brands.
However in all fairness, I have to admit from my experience to date I have been very impressed with fragrances I have purchased and I am in no doubt that the celebrity perfumes are here to stay!
Personally, I find it difficult sometimes to find a perfume which has a strong enough scent to last an evening out partying with the girls!
I have many perfumes, many of which are very light fragrances which are quite floral and very appropriate for the day time.
I often wear these to work, when I am going shopping or when I go out for a meal.
I only really have one perfume which I feel I can wear out to a club and I do not have to constantly reapply!
It is made by DKNY and called Delicious Night. I love the smell and I have managed to snap it up at the airport for a bargain on occassions. It is definitely one I would look out for!
It is that time of year when you have to think of gifts to buy your loved ones for Christmas, and as I have already mentioned I love receiving perfumes as presents!
I often find that there are lots of great selections of perfumes available over the Christmas period.
I think gift sets with lots of various little perfumes are great gifts to give friends, as there is likely to be an assortment of different scents which they can pick from. There are loads of different types available on the high street, you will probably be spoilt for choice!
I absolutely adore perfume, in my opinion you can never have too many! At Christmas time I always drop subtle hints to my boyfriend which suggest I would not mind receiving anymore perfume!
I never get sick of receiving perfume as presents!
The reason being is, it is a present which will last for months and weeks after you receive it. Of course I have my favourites, although it is always nice to receive different perfumes which enable me to experiment with the scents I wear…go on ladies start dropping those hints for that perfect Christmas present!
I recently took my sister shopping for Christmas, she is only 12 years old so I was thinking she would like either some new clothes or some new shoes. If she didnt want clothes I could get her some accessories which most girls like bracelets, necklaces etc.
However she completely surprised me and when we were wandering round the shops in my local shopping centre, we passed the perfume shop and she wanted to go straight in!
There is quite a large age gap between me and my sister, therefore I do not usually go shopping with her very often, but even I was surprised how knowledgeable she was with regards to her perfumes!
Anyway to cut a long story short I ended up getting her Paco Rabanne Lady Million, she loved it, and she thinks it smells gorgeous!
